Today marked the day of the annual Eagle Classic cross country race at Eagle Park in Nashville, Indiana. Over 2,000 runners participated in this race, from Jr. High to High School, and schools from all over the state joined the ranks. The boys' varsity race is always very interesting to watch, because of the speed and competition they endure. Sadly, I cannot watch the girls' varsity race, since I myself am a part of it!

The weather conditions were optimal for XC, at a pleasant 55-60 degrees, some sunlight, and a mild breeze. A lot of personal records were broken today, as well as Brown County High School's girls' 5k record, beat by Corrissa Proctor at 19:06.
