My new camera body, the Nikon D7100, arrived in the mail yesterday. I've been so excited to try it out. I love the weightlessness of the body, along with its sharp 22.4 mexapixels and great video capabilities. So, today, I put my 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6 Nikkor lens on my new baby and took some photos outside of my Mom, Sharon.
Though she's generally not a fan of being behind a camera, a few distractions and the familiarity of her Rosemary plant helped her feel a little more comfortable and relaxed. It's always wonderful to be able to capture the personality of your subject, and I think I managed to snap a few good ones of my beautiful momma.
